RemitBridge Labs, a Washington nonprofit corporation ("RemitBridge Labs", "we") publishes and operates RemitBridge: the mobile app (including Remmy, its assistant), this site and the RemitBridge WhatsApp bot. By using any of them, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
01Who you're agreeing with
These terms are an agreement between you and RemitBridge Labs, and no one else. RemitBridge Labs is a legal entity of its own, separate from the people who founded it, run it, work or volunteer for it, contribute to it or support it, and from their families. None of those people is a party to these terms, or to any other agreement with you about RemitBridge, and none of them makes any promise to you personally.
02What RemitBridge is
RemitBridge compares what it costs to send money from the United States, and shows how much arrives. It gives information only. RemitBridge Labs does not send, hold or exchange money, and is not a bank, a money transmitter or a broker. To send money, you deal with the provider you choose, under that provider's terms.
03Not advice
Nothing in the app, on this site, from Remmy or from the bot is financial or legal advice. The tools, lessons and estimates are there to help you understand costs. Decisions about sending money are yours.
04AI answers
Remmy and the WhatsApp bot use third-party AI to understand questions and answer using RemitBridge information. We check generated figures against the information supplied to the model, but these checks do not guarantee accuracy. An answer can be incomplete, misleading or wrong. Confirm figures in Compare and with the provider before sending money.
With your permission, Remmy can open screens and comparisons, start lessons and offer to save a comparison. A requested action runs once. Saving requires your tap and an account. Remmy cannot send money, change settings or contact providers. You remain responsible for actions you choose. Use Report reply inside the chat to flag an answer for review. Do not submit sensitive personal or bank information.
05Prices and RemitBridge choice
Compare shows bank-account-funded prices only. Receiving methods, availability and eligibility vary by provider and route. Standard prices are ranked by the amount received. The highest listed standard result is labelled "RemitBridge choice"; this describes the comparison at your chosen amount and receiving method, not a personal recommendation, endorsement or guarantee. First-transfer promotions are listed separately. No provider pays for placement, and we have no affiliate links.
Tap a price to see its source and original collection time. Hand-checked quotes can remain eligible for up to seven days, while other quotes expire sooner. A collection time is not a promise that a price is still available. Estimates for amounts we did not check are labelled; provider fees, taxes, pickup charges, transfer speed and eligibility can differ. An unknown charge is not a promise of zero cost. Check the provider's final quote before sending.
Receipt analysis and calculators are estimates for understanding a past transfer. They can account for funding methods beyond those offered in Compare. Lessons and games are educational; completing them is not professional certification or financial advice. Rate alerts depend on published prices and notification delivery, and are not guaranteed to arrive at a particular time. Newsletter subscription is optional and can be cancelled in Account or through an email's unsubscribe link.
06Using RemitBridge
- Use it lawfully, and only for yourself or people you help.
- Don't try to break it, overload it, get around its limits, or copy its data in bulk by automated means.
- Use Remmy and the bot for questions about sending money and RemitBridge. Don't try to make them say or do something they aren't meant to.
- Messages to Remmy and the bot, and receipt scans, have per-minute and daily limits, so the free service stays up for everyone.
- Only scan receipts you have the right to share. You choose whether a receipt is kept for research.
- An account is optional. If you make one, keep access to your email, Apple or Google account safe. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
We may limit or stop access for anyone who misuses the service.
07No warranty
RemitBridge is free and provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep prices accurate and the service running, but we can't promise either.
08Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, RemitBridge Labs is not liable for any loss that comes from using or relying on RemitBridge, including a price that was out of date or wrong, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost money, profits or data. In any case, RemitBridge Labs' total liability for all claims relating to RemitBridge is limited to $50. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
09Claims are against RemitBridge Labs only
To the fullest extent the law allows, any claim or dispute relating to RemitBridge (the app, this site or the WhatsApp bot) may be brought only against RemitBridge Labs. You agree not to bring it against any of RemitBridge Labs' founders, directors, officers, employees, volunteers or contributors, or any member of their families, and none of them is personally liable to you for anything relating to RemitBridge. Each of them may rely on and enforce this section as if they had signed these terms.
10Time limit for claims
Any claim relating to RemitBridge must be brought within one year after it arises, unless the law requires a longer period.
11Children
RemitBridge is not directed at children under 13. Accounts are for people 13 and older; comparing prices works without one.
12Copyright
If you believe something in RemitBridge uses your copyrighted work without permission, email hello@remitbridgelabs.org with: the work, where it appears in RemitBridge, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate. We'll look into it and remove anything that infringes.
13Changes
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. Please review this page for the current terms.
14Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any dispute relating to RemitBridge will be decided only in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
15If part of these terms doesn't apply
If a court decides any part of these terms can't be enforced, that part is limited as little as needed, and the rest still applies.
